The Zoological Museum
Zoological Museum located on campus in Trinity College Dublin. The museum is highly interactive featuring lots of exhibits that can be picked up and handled.
The Zoological Museum contains an extensive collection of animals from Ireland and abroad from a total collection of approximately 25,000 specimens. The collection contains representatives of all the animal phyla, from tiny protozoa, to large mammals and fulfills a significant teaching, research and educational role both within college and to the wider community.
Hold one of the world’s strangest teeth. Admire the world-renowned delicate glass artworks of sea creatures crafted by father and son team Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka in the 19th century.
