ECO Explorers Halloween Camp 2015
Young kids can have lots of fun this Halloween with the ECO-UNESCO’s ECO-Explorers Halloween Camp. The programme of workshops allow children to explore key environmental topics in fun, creative and spooky ways. What’s more, they’ll get plenty of ideas to bring home with them and they will make lots of new friends.
Explored, interacted and learned about Dublin’s nature through outdoor adventures, interactive games, hands-on activities and much more.
Enjoy outings in the Phoenix park, plant a seed and learn about the environment! Camps also include art projects and lots of green exercise – that’s exercise outdoors!
Built broomsticks, made stick skeletons and go on a mini-beast safari! Take part in the creative arts and crafts using recycled materials. Explored trees, insects & animals & discovered the importance of biodiversity to a healthy & functioning planet are just some of the activities your children will enjoy while learning about their environment and nature and having lots of fun!

Ages:- Camp open to all children aged between 5 and 12
Date:- October 27th-30th
Time:- Camps run from 10.00 – 15.00.

What Is ECO-UNESCO
ECO-UNESCO is Ireland’s Environmental Education and Youth Organisation affiliated to the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Associations (WFUCA).
ECO-UNESCO’s aims are:
- to raise environmental awareness, understanding and knowledge of the environment among young people
- to promote the protection and conservation of the environment
- to promote the personal development of young people through practical environmental projects and activities.

The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse is ECO-UNESCO’s Dublin city centre headquarters and home to a wide range of activities, events, and trainings for all ages. The Greenhouse information and exhibition space is open to the public Monday – Friday (9.30am – 5.00pm). Facilities are also available for hire including meeting and conference rooms, exhibition space and hot desks.
