Hip Kidz

Hip Kidz is a fully interactive Kids sport and activities activities centre in Galway. Kids can enjoy themselfs playing in an environment where they can learn new skills, get fit and have lots of fun at the same. At Hip Kidz they have lots of great sports ans fun, fitness activities where you can measure your performance to compare to your friends. Kids will increase their fitness and athletic ability while having fun across ALL the sporting disciplines that Hip Kidz has to offer.

Hip Kidz unique Fun, Sports and Activities Arena is the first of its type in the world. The whole place is like a ‘Giant Multifunctional Sporting Playstation’ .

The Wild Nettle restaurant ( 2010 & 2011 Bridgestone Restaurant Award Winner ) is the top class restaurant, serving up a wide variety of delicious meals. Whether you are looking for a quick snack, a light meal, or a full dinner, the Wild Nettle has some of the most mouthwatering and best prepared dishes in Galway.

 

Hip Kidz Play Zone Activities

All the activities, sports and athletic disciplines are fitted with Laser Beams/Breakbeams, Timers, Push Buttons and Sensor Padding allowing all performances, such as sprint, accuracy, high jump, long jump and ball skills/targets to be measured.

Zone A :- Fun & Activities Zone – Mini Sports Zone, Climbing Wall, Dance Mats, Shoot the Tubes, Wack it Wall

Zone B :- Athletics and Obstacle Zone with Bicycles

Zone C :- Sports Zone: Gaelic Games, Cyper Ball, Basketball, Dodge Ball, Parachute Games, Soccer, Rugby, Laser Quest

Zone D :- Wii /Interactive Room with large Plasmas and multiple Games for all

  • Friday :- 9.00am – 7pm or later
  • Saturday :- 10.00am – 7pm
  • Sunday:-  11.00am – 6pm

 

Wild Nettle Cafe is opened from

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Saturday 10am to 6pm
  • Sunday 12pm to 5pm

 

Family Fun Tip :- There are always occasions when they can stay open for clubs or parties which require a later start-time.

Kids Birthday Parties At Hip Kidz

HipKidz has the most organised and exhilarating Parties in the country! With their unique Fun, Sports & Activities  Arena they can structure the system for Parties to suit a wide range of children’s interests.
All the party they run are supervised with instructors taking the party kids through the Zones and showing  them how to do all the brilliant sports and activities. Parents can ‘Chill-Out’ in the delicious and calm Wild Nettle Restaurant which is tastefully furnished and away from the madness and fun taking place.
HipKidz is very popular for both girls and boys from the ages of 4 up to 13 and parties usually last for 2 hours and include 1 hour and 20 minutes of Sporting Interactivity and fun followed by Juice Bar and delicious food.

School Tours At Hip Kidz

All School Trips are supervised by Hipkidz instructors. So teachers can join in the fun or sit back, relax in TheWild Nettle Restaurant and let us take care of them children! Two Teachers get FREE meal in the award winning Wild Nettle Cafe(seperate dining to kids).
Every child will get a chance to enjoy all activities. Activities in the main sports zone will vary depending on the ages of those on
the School Tour and may include:-
  • Gaelic Games, Soccer, Basketball, Cyper Ball and other Field Games, Laser Quest and Parachute Games.
Every school tour at Hipkidz will consist of 2 – 2.5 hrs of Sports & Activities inclusive of meal.
