Discover the Magic of Drama at PlayAct!

At PlayAct, they believe every child is a natural storyteller, and their drama classes are designed to nurture their natural creativity, confidence, and self-expression. The team have to “learn” each child, and meet their students where they are at. Their tutors and Adrienne need to build on each child’s strength and interests.

For example: The tutors and Adrienne  need to build on each child’s strengths and interests. For example, they might say to a very enthusiastic child – ‘today, Jenny, you’re the director. You need to think about all the things you need to make this play work. And fix any problems you see. Get a small group together to help you.’”
Working in this way they are creating a fun, relaxed, and inspiring environment where each individual child can explore, grow, and shine.

This drama school isn’t just about acting—it’s about immersion in the magic of theatre! From learning to act and write to making props and collaborating with others, children and young people will connect, create, and simply play. Whether they dream of the spotlight or love the behind-the-scenes magic, PlayAct is a place where everyone belongs. With classes in Inchicore, Terenure, Sandymount, and Dún Laoghaire, they bring the joy of theatre to communities across Dublin—so there’s always a stage waiting for you!”
