Savoy Cinema – great for kids and all the family. The Savoy Cinema started life in 1929 as a 3000 seater single screen cinema and now has 6 screens with over 2000 seats including the 780 seater Screen Number 1.
The Savoy cinema has not only exhibited some of the world’s greatest movies but has also stood witness to an ever changing Irish society, over the years it has it has become a Dublin landmark being the oldest surviving city-centre cinema.
The Savoy is now the preferred location for the majority of Irish Premieres in its famous No 1 auditorium that still retains the red drapes on its big screen.
