The Bug Festival on in the Millstreet Country Park in Cork is packed with activities for the whole family to enjoy! Bring your wellies and your sunglasses.
Venture through the 500 acre park with Walking Trails, Cycling Trails, Safari Tours and much more.
Activities Include:
- Family Bug Hunt
Explorers go hunting for the little critters, creepy crawlies, frogs, damselflies form the woodland undergrowth using beating trays and sweep nets! Once you catch your insects learn fascinating facts with our on-site ecologist Lorna O Mahony!
- Treasure Hunt
Find the letters around the park and unscramble them to solve the puzzle. First family back to the visitor centre with the unscrambled words wins!
- Wildlife Art & Craft
Make amazing artwork of the park and craft a new piece of equipment for wildlife exploring! Memorable unique keepsake from your day at the park!
