Why – Because they get to see their beautiful trees still growing in the ground, pick the one they love the best, mark it as their own with the red ribbon, and then…they get to see it being cut down right there and then, they can help to carry it in, and see it going though the netter, along with many a child!

Galway Christmas Trees Farm
The Galway Christmas Trees are growing right on the farm. So you put on your wellies ( they have a supply of all sizes if you forget yours!) take a signature red ribbon, and off you go to pick the tree just right for you.
They grow all types of trees, the traditional Norway Spruce, the Noble Fir, Nordman and Frazer Fir, and the Lodgepole Pine (See examples of our trees below).

Galway Christmas Trees have been growing and caring for all the trees throughout the year. They prune, shape, fertilize, and replant so that you can pick a beautifully shaped, full tree – exactly the way you want it, and perfect for that special place in your home. And for every tree you pick, they plant 3 new ones, so how is that for environmentally friendly!

- Daylight hours from Friday November 27 to Wednesday December 23rd
- Earlier is possible too by arrangement
Price:- €35 for all trees up to 6 ft. Every extra ft plus €5 – over 10ft. priced separately.
