Cliffs of Moher
The Cliffs of Moher is Ireland’s most visited natural attraction with a magical vista that captures the hearts of up to 1 million visitors each year. From the cliffs, one can see the Aran Islands, Galway Bay, The Twelve Bens, the Maam Turk Mountains in Connemara and Loop Head to the south. O’Brien’s Tower, another of Ireland’s most-photographed landmarks, guards one prominent headland of these majestic cliffs.
Hidden discretely into the hillside you will find the award winning eco- friendly Visitor Centre. This dome shaped underground space, houses the visitor facilities including Cafés, Souvenir shops and first -aid facilities. Here you can also experience the Cliffs Exhibition which brings to life the story of the Cliffs presenting the geology, wildlife and human aspects of this unique location in an exciting and interactive way.
Experience ‘Postcards from the Edge’ and share a short video clip by email with family and friends and the children will love the Puffin Play area. There is a Free Audio Guide App for Android and Apple devices and free customer Wi-Fi.
