Custom House Visitor Centre
The Visitor Centre located in and around the Dome or Clocktower area which contains the most important interior features to have survived the destruction of the building by fire in 1921 during one of the more dramatic events of the War of Independance.
The Visitor Centre includes a Gandon Museum, the history of the Custom House itself, and important characters who have had offices in the building in the two centuries since it was completed.
