Blackrock to UCD 10k Family Cycle
National Bike Week Event
Bike Week 2014 takes place From June 13th to 21st. As part of the week, a leisurely 10km cycle is planned from Blackrock Village to UCD and back.
Starting in Blackrock Main Street and continuing along the new cycle route on Frascati Road, the cycle then travels west along Rock Road (4km route for younger children turns into Blackrock Park at Booterstown Dart Station and back to Blackrock) and turns left on Trimelstown Avenue and onto UCD via Woodbine Road.
Following a short route within the UCD campus, the cycle will come back along the same route and back Blackrock via Blackrock Park.
The aim of the event is to promote the new Frascati Road and Temple Hill Route Improvement Scheme and the Booterstown Dart to UCD route (including new leaflet).
This free cycle starts at 3pm from Blackrock Main Street and registration is at 2.30pm.
There will be a range of activities and entertainment staged before the leisurely cycle begins with a goodie bag and refreshments for everyone at the finish line.Classification :- Family Event / All Ages
