FitKids Camps 2011
FitKids Camps are running two new fun gymnastic fitness kids camps this Easter and Summer the Fitkids Junior Camp for 3 to 8 year olds and the Fitkids Bootcamp for the 8 to 12 year olds.
Fitkids aim is to give children a love of being active through their fun fitness skilled-based camps resulting in fit and healthy future adults. Fitkids is a great foundation for any sport and is equally suitable for boys and girls as it develops the fundamentals of fitness: flexibility, agility, balance, co-ordination, strength and endurance.

Fitkids Boot Camp
Attention….On your feet and get active Fitkids!
Adapting military style activities such as orienteering, first aid, search and recovery and obstacle courses – The Fitkids team put the boot-campers through a range of activities.
With the development of hand/eye coordination, cognitive skills and basic first aid at the centre of attention; they help to develop kids in a non competitive manner while teaching them to think outside the box.
This Camp is kids ages 7 – 12 years at a cost of €99 Group Bookings 3 or more children – €70 per child.

Family Fun Tip:- Parents please have protective sunscreen on your child before they arrive to the camp and provide them with a sunhat, rain jacket and wellie-boots (if wet) and a healthy packed lunch and drink. We also ask that your child wears comfortable runners or sandals that they can run in.

Fitkids Easter Camps
Keep the kids active this Easter while having fun and making friends. Four days of activities run by qualified staff. All camp venues have the use of an indoor facility with a suitable outdoor area. Many camp activities will be held outdoors (weather permitting) as we like the children to get plenty of fresh air.
Fitkids Junior Easter Camp
The children will be kept fully occupied participating in the many varied activities i.e. Gymnastics and tumbling using the Fitkids specialized equipment, dance, fun games, story telling and jigsaw fun time – nature walks, parachute fun time, ball games etc.
Fitkids activities
- Gymnastics and tumbling skills
- Team games and relays
- FitKids circuit training
- Games and exercises using footballs, rhythmic ribbons, hula-hoops, skipping ropes, agility ladders, gymnastic balls and parachute to name but a few
- Movement / warm up to music

Fitkids Boot Easter Camp
The FitKids fun Bootcamps put the 7 to 12 year olds through their paces! Fun adventure activities such as orienteering, First Aid skills, gymnastic circuits and obstacle courses not to mention the many fun team games help kids develop hand/eye coordination, cognitive, sensory and social skills.
The highly experienced FitKids instructors encourage children to work together, be part of a team, to think outside the box and to problem solve. This is where great friendships begin – children will develop key movement and social skills through intelligent movement based games with the ethos being on fair play!
