We will cater for those who may have sensory issues as we are aware the loud noises and whistles of the parade can be quite distressing at times. Our Sensory Area will be signposted in advance, there will be volunteers stationed here who will assist in ensuring all parade goers can enjoy our parade. In this area parents and children of those with sensory issues will be able to enjoy all the sights and spectacle of St. Patrick’s Day without the loud sounds as participants in the parade will be encouraged to take into account the needs of others to ensure the parade is a joy for all. There will also be designated Children’s entertainment in our kids section for those with similar needs. Please email us on [email protected] if you have any questions in relation to this.
