Skyfest Wexford – no dates confirmed
This year the St Patrick Day Festival annual National Lottery Skyfest Firework Display moves to Wexford where it will light up the skies over the majestic Viking city. The Wexford Quays provide a stunning setting for the formidable fireworks display where bright colours and amazing effects will light up the skies over the river Slaney. A breathtaking pyrotechnic waterfall will create a 300m wide curtain of cascading silver fire.
The display will be choreographed to a mesmerising soundtrack guaranteeing a night that will dazzle the senses
Performing live on the evening will be Wexford based and internationally renowned street arts company Buí Bolg. Using the themes of fire and water Bui Bolg will present a mystical spectacle on the waterfront especially devised for the broadcast.
Ensuring those at home can share in the celebrations, the show will be broadcast live on RTÉ 1 on Saturday from 19.30 followed by a special National Lottery Lotto draw live from Wexford Town. A pyrotechnic extravaganza not to be missed.
