Great pride is taken in their karts, all of which are inspected and tested regularly and are in top condition at all times. They also provide race suits, helmet liners, helmets and gloves. Rain gear also provided if needed. Pallas Karting endeavour to make your experience with them as pleasant as possible, whether sun or rain.
Pallas Karting experienced staff will be on hand to make sure that everything goes safely and smoothly. Catering for the individual, groups, corporate, sports and social clubs, Schools etc.
There are two different racing tracks for Karting: –
- The 500m track is suitable for those over 10 years of age (Beginners/Family Track),
- The 1500m track is suitable for those over 16 years of age and some experience of driving.
In both cases height restrictions apply. (Participants must be at least 4ft 6″ or 135cm in height).
Pallas Karting Arrive And Drive
This is ideal for the individual who would just like to arrive and drive rather than organise a group event.
They can cater for sessions from 15 minutes upwards on both the 500 metre & 1500 metre tracks.
Pallas Karting Grand Prix
They will arrange your very own Grand Prix session. In their experience, this is one of the most enjoyable competitions, and suits groups of 15 to 60. At stake, is the “coveted” Pallas Karting Trophy. A Grand Prix session can be arranged on both the 500 meter and 1500 meter tracks and includes:
- Pre-race briefing followed by a practice session
- Four standard heats
- Semi final heats
- Grand Final
- Podium presentation
Both tracks benefit from a raised viewing platform and reception area with snack bar where your friends and family can watch all the action.

They are approx 45 minutes from Galway, Athlone, Thurles, 1hour 15minutes from Limerick, Portlaoise, 2 hours from Dublin
- Directions from Galway, Tuam, Mayo, Sligo
Drive M6 and take Loughrea/Portumna Exit
Drive N65 to old N6 for Balinasloe/Dublin/Portumna
3 Miles after the last roundabout take a Right for the N65 for Portumna,
4.5 Miles on the Portumna Road N65, You will reach Gortymadden,
Take a Right turn in Gortymadden and follow road until a T-junction
Drive straight through Tynagh Village and
We are a mile and a half on the left hand side
