The Promenade Festival Tramore
The Promenade Festival in Tramore is a free, family fun festival celebrating classic Irish seaside fun, with street performers, sand art, displays from the Emergency Services, music and much more!.
The Promenade Festival has a huge variety of exciting attractions and family friendly activities over the weekend including sand art, street entertainment, a regatta, maritime heritage events, stalls along the prom, performances and light shows.
The festival pays tribute to the the Emergency Services who will showcase their skills to the public with exciting displays and demonstrations. The Promenade in Tramore itself is a unique location between the land and the sea. It is a neutral and public space and is the perfect mascot to symbolise the social, architectural and historic elements of the town.
The festival plans to rekindle Tramore’s nostalgic and vibrant past as it evolves into Ireland’s premier seaside resort. The main outdoor experience will be based on the prom and beach with a string of events taking throughout the town.
The main outdoor experience will be based on the Prom and Beach with a string of Events taking place up through the town. To connect the prom and the town main streets a pedestrian system will be in operation along Strand Street as far as the cross on Main Street and Queen Street.
The festival plans to utilise the best that Tramore has to offer and Tramore Tourism in association with The Art Hand to create this exciting new arts and entertainment festival.
