Toddler storytime every Thursday from 11.00 – 11.30am and Playtime every Tuesday from 11.00am – 12.00pm.Children’s art class every Saturday from 2.30 – 4.00pm. Closed on Sat of bank hols.

Children’s art class takes place every Monday at 3.00pm. Please note that the library is closed on Saturdays/Mondays of Bank Holiday weekends.

Blackrock library, a handsome Carnegie building built in 1905, is an integral part of its architectural heritage.

Dalkey Library is one of the newer branches of Dunlaoghaire-Rathdown County Council’s Libraries, and has two dedicated music rooms for practising the harp and the piano.

The name Cabinteely comes from the Irish Cábán tSíle, or Sheila’s Cabin. The village’s distinctive Carnegie library was opened in 1912.

Deansgrange Library is a modern branch, innovatively designed in a double octagon shape. It is situated at the busy Deansgrange crossroads.
