Little Painter Art Classes
Rulabula little painters are classes investigate the fundamentals of art – designs, decorating techniques and self expression, demonstrated through fun activities and the production of precious keepsakes. All of the classes are limited to 8 participants per group which allows each student to receive individualised attention to insure their success in each project.
Classes are held on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings and are suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years old
Paint Your Own Pottery
They have 100’s of different pottery shapes to choose from, you can paint anything from a dinosaur to a dinner plate, from a fire engine to a fairy! Paint your own unique design onto your chosen item using our non-toxic ceramic paints, leave your work of art with them to be hand glazed and fired and then collect your masterpiece a few days later.
A Bear Is Born
Create your own special teddy bear, give him a name and he’ll be a special friend for life! Choose from a range of animals, hand stuff your teddy with fluffy stuffing, make a wish on a star and place it in your teddies tummy, close him or her up, give your teddy a name and they will issue a birth cert.
Rulabula Glass Fusing
Rulabula we’ll show you how to create your own glass art, it’s very easy and lots of fun. Create your own jewellery or bigger custom pieces, choose a background colour and then decorate with different colours, shapes, sizes and textures of glass. Then leave your glass with them to be fused. You’ll love the fun of creating your glass art and the look of your fused glass piece. This activity is for ages 10 and up.
Rulabula Kids Workshops
Rulabula hold a series of children’s workshops during the school holidays with a different project each day, so no two days are the same. Some of the materials they use include, glass, pottery, clay hand building, painting with acrylics on canvas, candle making and sketching. Learn new techniques in a creative and fun environment. Capture the magic of your little one’s hands and feet forever by printing them onto a commemorative plate, tile or mug. Ask the friendly creative staff at Rulabula for assistance. They can also create a 3-D imprint of your child’s hand or foot to create a unique and lasting memento.
Craft Birthday Parties At Rulabula Sligo
Rulabula is the perfect place for a party, mums love the simplicity and kids love the creativity. They have a huge range of party options to choose from and birthday party packages can be tailor made to suit your needs and budget. Birthday parties can be held in the Rulabula studio or they can come out to your home.

Parties must be booked in advance, a reservation form completed and a deposit paid.

Their doors are open every day, and the staff at Rulabula are always on hand to give help with whatever you choose to paint.

- Open late Thursday – Saturday (booking required).
Family Fun Tip
You don’t have to book, but we recommend you book at weekends and during school holidays.
Rulabula Prices
- The unpainted bisque is of Italian origin and ranges in price from €10. This includes the use of paints, brushes, stamping and stencilling equipment and also the professional glazing and firing of your item(s).
- Glass fusing starts at €20
- Bear factory teddies range from €13 to €19.
Where To Find Rulabula Sligo
They are located in Sligo City Centre, opposite Oates Breheny Group on JFK Parade, a 5 minute walk from O’Connell Street, Sligo. There is limited parking in our courtyard and plenty of public car parking across the road and in car parks nearby.
