Breakfast with Santa

Mrs Claus will be working hard on Saturday 3rd, 10th & 17th December cooking breakfast in the grotto kitchen, so why not book a seat at the table for you and your little ones and join Santa for breakfast at 10.00am.

Following a delicious breakfast, children can choose from one of three activities, ice skating; tenpin bowling or Indiana Land, to complete their fun festive morning.

Skate with Santa

Take to the ice throughout the month of December and enjoy a yuletide skate with Santa, himself! Glide, swirl and dance along to the very best festive music for a truly magical winter experience.

Santa will be skating on the rink on Saturday 3rd, 10th & 17th December from 1.30pm-3pm & 3.30pm-5pm.

Ice Skating At The Dundonald International Ice Bowl

Get your skates on and take to the ice for a totally cool day out! Public sessions are available 7 days per week with wicked supported DJ sessions operating throughout the weekend and selected holidays. Skate hire is also available.

The facility offers a feast of activities on the ice, including Saturday morning family sessions, the annual N.I. Open Ice Skating Championships, Christmas Skating Galas and a number of fun seasonal events.

Penguin Skating Aids have waddled their way to Dundonald International Ice Bowl to help boys and girls, 8 years and under, and under 4ft to take their first steps on the ice. There are a limited number of Penguin Skating Aids available free of charge for young children.

They cannot guarantee that every person requesting the use of an aid will be accommodated

Skating Lessons

Dundonald International Ice Bowl has over 25 years experience delivering ice skating lessons to many championship skaters. The next champion could be you!!

All ice skating courses consist of half hour sessions over a period of 6 weeks with NISA qualified coaches. Courses cater for beginners and help skaters progress from Grade 1 to Grade 10.

The courses do get booked up quite quickly so it is best to book early to avoid disappointment. Each course lasts six weeks in duration.

Ice Tots!

Ice Tots provides children from 2-4 years the perfect foundation to ice skating, teaching them the basic skills and techniques of the sport in a small group environment.

Ten Pin Bowling At The Ice Bowl

Become king of the lanes in our 30 lane state of the art bowling centre with spectacular glow in the dark Xtreme sessions.

All games can be booked and paid for at the bowling reception, where you can also collect your bowling shoes.

Prices for a game of ten pin bowling do vary depending on the time and day of the week.

The Ice Bowl carry a vast number of bowling balls of varying weights so as to best suit you and every member of your family from child to adult

Xtreme Sessions

Enjoy all the fun of tenpin bowling with glow balls, pins and ultra violet lanes for the ultimate bowling experience. You can also party on down while you bowl with DJ entertainment, prize competitions, disco lighting and smoke effects.*

Indiana Land Activity Centre At The Ice Bowl

Become Indiana Jones for a day and go wild in this awesome jungle inspired indoor playground. Available to toddlers and children under 12 years old and 5ft in height, Indiana Land offers 3 levels of fun play equipment for the bravest explorer.

For under 12’s

Scamper through hidden tunnels, swing over daring rope bridges and free fall down the giant vertical slide for an exciting adventure.

All areas are furnished with padded matts and anti-climb netting for additional safety. Parental supervision is mandatory at all times. A seated area is available with a range of vending machines selling tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks.

Toddlers

For babies and toddlers, there is also a separate play area where they can explore different shapes and textures and interact with other children of the same age. This is an interactive play area, where parents can help their children develop skills in touch, sight and exercise.

Family Fun Tip:-

We recommend that long sleeves, trousers and socks are worn during playtime in Indiana Land to avoid friction burns.
Indiana Land operates a height restriction of 5ft and an age restriction of 12 years.
Children must be 6+ years to use the Free Fall slide

Birthday Parties At The Dundonald International Ice Bowl

Enjoy a day to remember at Dundonald International Ice Bowl with a choice of fantastic party packages for children and teenagers

All party packages include an hour of play in one of the activity zones at Dundonald International Ice Bowl in Dundonald. You can choose from ice skating to various types of ten pin bowling to Indiana Land or Adventure Golf. Chicken nuggets, sausages, chips, freshly made sandwiches and juice is served at all parties and each child goes home with a free goody bag. The birthday boy or girl will also receive a complimentary pass to go visit The Ice Bowl again another time.

For a bigger party you can combine two or more party packages to include more activities for your special day for a small extra fee per child.
