The James Joyce Centre Dublin
The James Joyce Centre is dedicated to the promotion of an understanding of the life and works of this most famous Dubliner.
It is located in a fine example of eighteenth century Georgian Townhouse architecture, meticulously restored from a condition of delrecliction. On permanent exhibit are a 1922 edition of Ulysses and the original door to number 7 Eccles Street, fictional home of Leopold Bloom, hero of Ulysses.
The James Joyce Centre organises guided walks through Joycean Dublin taking in well known sites from Joyce’s books and personal life.
