Toyota Dream Car Art Contest
Irish finalists will compete in global competition for trip to Japan
Kids around Ireland – grab your crayons, coloured pencils and paintbrushes and show Toyota your idea of your ‘Dream Car’ for a chance to win some truly great prizes!
It is a national art competition and Toyota Ireland is asking Irish children across three age group categories to draw or paint their idea of their Dream Car using standard art materials such as markers, paint or crayons.
The national competition will see nine Irish finalists awarded a range of prizes at the official awards ceremony in Dublin in March 2017, and their winning entries will then compete against other international finalists for a chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to Japan.
2017 Prizes for each age category:
1st Prize – Tablet
2nd Prize – Digital camera
3rd Prize – Art Supplies
Dream Car Art National Contest – Now Closed For 2017
Entry Submission
Take an A3 size paper (A4 size is OK too) and use any medium you like – pencils, crayons, paint – to create your dream car. Don’t forget a background, so we can imagine what it would look like in its environment. And remember: only hand-made drawings are acceptable, so don’t use a computer to do it.
All art entries can be submitted either via Toyota dealerships around Ireland (a full list is at www.toyota.ie ) or to Toyota Ireland, Killeen Road, Dublin 12. Submissions should be marked ‘Toyota Dream Car Art Contest’ and must be accompanied by an entry form.

Annoucement Of Results
A panel of three judges, Oliver Whelan, Lecturer in Fine Art and Painting at NCAD, RTE star Blathnaid Treacy and a representative from Toyota Ireland have the tough job of selecting three finalists in each age category (under 8 years, 8-11 years and 12-15 years) as the national winners.
