The Haunted Maze in Wicklow
The Haunted Maze was a sell out success in 2015 but due to family circumstances it is not happening this year 2018 – never fear watch this space for 2018!
The Haunted Maze….Nightmares at the Museums….Phantoms in the Farmhouse…..Prepare to be Scared and Positively Petrified at “The Haunted Maze” this Halloween from Friday October 23rd to Sunday November 1st every day from 4pm to 9pm at Greenan Maze, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.
Greenan Maze is Haunted! For the first time ever the Maze comes to life after dark, haunted by ghost and ghouls, spirits and sorcerers! Run the gauntlet through the Maze and figure out the puzzles, dead ends, tricky traps and riddles. Avoiding the zombies, demons and grim reapers, will be a deathly difficult task as they chase you around the eerily lit darkness of the twisting turns and tunnels in the tricky Maze. Get to the safe haven in the middle, win a glowing magic wand and drink the magic potion for protection as you fight off more dementors on the way out. Beware the Nightmares in the Museums, they will haunt your dreams, then escape the Phantoms in the Farmhouse, Freaky Farmer Fred and the Banshee in the Bed screaming for lost souls.
It’s all frightfully good fun as you finally arrive in the Tea Rooms and calm the nerves with some restorative treats and delicious home made delights.
Not-so-scary tours start at 4pm for the youngsters (up to 7 years), then older kids (up to 12 years) can enjoy the more spooky times of 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. The whole spooky experience takes approximately one hour. Teens and adults can partake of the petrifying time at 9pm. Be warned, the later the tour time, the scarier the tour!!!
Good outdoor clothing is advised, please bring a torch, your strength of character and sense of adventure. Halloween dress up is definitely advised to get into the spirit of things. Prizes will be given for the most horrifying Halloween attire or the most creative child’s costume.
