Wooly Ward’s Farm Animal Summer Camp 2016
At Wooly Ward’s Farm they are running an Animal Summer Camp starting Monday 8th August for one week.
Each day will themed around a different animal, Monday – The Furries, Tuesday – Poultry, Wednesday – Goats, Pigs & Sheep, Thursday – Creepy Creatures & Friday – Ponies, Donkeys & Llamas.
Children will learn how to care for the animals, engage in practical animal handling as well arts & crafts, cookery & outdoor fun.

Times:- Camps run from 10.00 – 14.00
Ages:- Camps are for children 5 – 12 yrs old
Cost:-
- €125.00 (first child),
- €115 (second child),
- €100 (third child).
They also offer a one day camp at €35.00 per day

Directions to Wooly Wards Farm
Located just off the N2 on the Swords – Ashbourne road, Wooly Ward’s Farm is ideally situated close to the greater Dublin area and east Meath.
From M50
Take the N2 off the M50 and take exit 3 off the N2 for Ashbourne. At the roundabout take the Swords road R125. Follow this road passing Donaghmore Church on your left hand side and further on the Broadmeadow River also on your left. Take the next left R130 in the direction of Garristown. You will see a sign for Sam Dennigan. Follow this road for over a km and look out for Wooly Ward’s Farm sign on your right hand side after the yellow bad bend sign.
From Newry/Navan/Kells
Head south for Ashbourne on the N2. At the 1st roundabout (the Pillo hotel is on your left) take the N2 motorway. Take the next exit 3 for Swords. At the roundabout take the Swords road R125. Follow this road passing Donaghmore Church on your left hand side and further on the Broadmeadow River also on your left. Take the next left R130 in the direction of Garristown. You will see a sign for Sam Dennigan. Follow this road for over a km and look out for Wooly Ward’s Farm sign on your right hand side after the yellow bad bend sign.
From Swords
From the old castle in Swords take the R125 to Ashbourne passing JC’s and Dunnes on your right hand side. Follow this road to Rolestown passing Kettles Hotel on your left hand side and then the old school on your right hand side. After the school take the second right in the direction of Garristown. DO NOT TAKE THE TURN FOR OLDTOWN. You will see a sign for Sam Dennigan. Follow this road for over a km and look out for Wooly Ward’s Farm sign on your right hand side after the yellow bad bend sign.
From Balbriggan
Take the Balbriggan/Naul road. You will arrive in the Naul opposite Killians Pub (resist the temptation to go in!!) Turn right and take the next left towards Garristown. Follow this road for a few miles passing Armstrong Machinery on your right and then a turn right for Garristown. DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD BUT THE NEXT RIGHT. Be careful turning as the road veers left for Oldtown and can be dangerous. You will know you are on the correct road if you pass a graveyard on your right. Follow this road for a few miles going through a crossroads until you reach a t-junction. Veer left on the main road towards Swords. Then watch out for Wooly Wards Farm on your left a few hundred metres up the road.
