Temple Bar Chocolate Festival
This year’s Temple Bar Chocolate Festival takes place 3 – 5 December – A Chocolate Christmas in Temple Bar and invites you to get your hands, face and taste-buds chocolatey! Take your family to experience the first ever Panto on the Liffey, add a children’s chocolate truffle making workshop and melt into one of our outdoor movies on Meeting House Square, the ultimate family Christmas outing.
Visit the Temple Bar Chocolate Festival Chocolate Fair in Meeting House Square with up to 20 stalls including 12 chocolate artisan producers from around the country, hot chocolate, good coffees, chocolate pastries and even a savory chocolate stall.
Also at the Chocolate Fair, children can decorate their own chocolate cupcake, dip some fruits into a chocolate fountain and be entertained by Barbershop Quartet ‘4-in-a-BAR’! Chocolate through film, poetry and the visual arts will also be celebrated with a chocolate-inspired exhibition in NGG (No Grants Gallery).
Temple Bar Chocolate Festival, presented by Temple Bar Cultural Trust, allows you and your children to participate in tastings, hands-on cooking and creative workshops along with learning tips from the experts such as French Chocolatier Benoit Lorge. To top it off, don’t miss your opportunity to hear Willie Harcourt-Cooze’s story (from the Channel 4 documentary series, ‘Willies Wonky chocolate Factory’) when he relates his journey ‘From Bean to Bar!’ in the Button Factory.
